Pavement Preservation Projects to Continue with Phase II

KINGMAN – Beginning the first week of September and continuing through the month of October, the City of Kingman will be conducting pavement preservation projects throughout the city. Grading, different roadway seal applications, and striping will be completed during different phases throughout the two-month period. The tentative areas will be posted weekly to the City of Kingman social media pages. Work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting. AZGFD, TU establish first-of-a-kind shared position to boost angler recruitment, retention

The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) and the nonprofit conservation organization Trout Unlimited (TU) have entered into an agreement for a co-shared position to focus on angler recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3).   This is the first such shared R3 arrangement in the U.S. between a state fish and wildlife agency and a non-governmental organization (NGO) for fishing. The model has been used successfully between some wildlife agencies (including AZGFD) and NGOs (such as the National Wild Turkey Federation) for hunting R3 efforts.
