Marvelous Microschool is a Cognia-accredited learning community dedicated to providing a personalized, student-centered educational experience where every child is known, valued, and empowered to succeed. We believe every student learns differently, and our intentionally small learning environments allow educators to tailor instruction to each learner’s unique strengths, interests, and academic needs while maintaining rigorous academic standards.
What truly sets Marvelous Microschool apart is our innovative campus model. Rather than operating as one traditional school, our campus is home to 11 individual microschools, each housed within its own dedicated classroom space. While each microschool has its own identity, culture, teaching philosophy, and personalized learning environment, all 11 work collaboratively under one roof as part of the Marvelous Microschool community. This unique structure provides students with the close-knit atmosphere of a small school while offering the resources, collaboration, and opportunities of a larger educational organization.
Our educational philosophy blends academic excellence with hands-on learning, projectbased instruction, social-emotional development, leadership opportunities, and real-world experiences. Students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems creatively, collaborate with others, and develop the confidence necessary to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
Early College and Career Opportunities
One of the many advantages of attending Marvelous Microschool is our commitment to preparing students for success beyond high school. Eligible students have the opportunity to participate in concurrent enrollment through Mohave Community College at no cost to their families. Through this opportunity, students can earn college credits, industryrecognized certificates, and, depending on their chosen pathway and progress, work toward completing college credentials while still enrolled in high school.
By beginning their college education early, students gain valuable experience, reduce future college expenses, and graduate with a competitive advantage as they pursue higher education or enter the workforce.
Community Partnerships and Student Support
Marvelous Microschool believes that educating the whole child requires strong partnerships with families and the community. We are proud to collaborate with organizations that expand learning opportunities and provide valuable support services for our students.
The Marvelous Microschool’s partnership with Hope and Health Hub provides students and families with access to mental health and wellness resources that support emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
Students also benefit from experiential learning opportunities through Healing Hooves, where interactions with horses foster confidence, responsibility, emotional regulation, leadership, and personal growth.
Through our collaboration with the City of Kingman Parks and Recreation Department, students have opportunities to participate in recreational programs, community events, enrichment activities, and wellness initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and community engagement.
Our partnership with the Kingman Youth Football League (KYFL) encourages participation in youth athletics, helping students build teamwork, discipline, leadership, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Students interested in martial arts have access to instruction and character-building opportunities through Carlson Gracie, where they develop self-discipline, confidence, respect, perseverance, and physical fitness.
Students exploring skilled trades benefit from our partnership with American Fleet, where they gain exposure to careers in automotive and diesel mechanics through hands-on experiences and career exploration opportunities.
We also partner with Richard Doxtader Photography to provide professional school portraits and capture memorable moments throughout the school year, preserving each student’s educational journey through high-quality photography.
Beyond these partnerships, Marvelous Microschool supports families by providing guidance regarding Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) and assisting parents with completing and submitting Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) applications. Our knowledgeable staff is committed to helping families navigate educational opportunities and ensuring students receive the services and support they need to thrive.

Leadership
Marvelous Microschool was founded by Dr. Normoyle, an accomplished educator and visionary leader dedicated to transforming education through innovation and personalized learning.
Dr. Normoyle holds a Doctorate in Education and two master’s degrees in education, bringing extensive knowledge in educational leadership, curriculum development, student achievement, and instructional excellence. Throughout her career, she has been committed to creating educational environments where every child is recognized as an individual and given the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
Driven by the belief that education should nurture the whole child, Dr. Normoyle established Marvelous Microschool to provide families with an educational option that combines academic excellence, individualized instruction, strong family partnerships, and meaningful community connections. Her leadership continues to shape a culture built on compassion, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
