KINGMAN – Starting Tuesday, October 11, and continuing through the end of the month, the City of Kingman will be conducting pavement preservation projects throughout the city. These projects will include additional chip seal in residential district 1, as well as milling, grading, and paving. Work is expected to be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Sweeping of chips will be ongoing, starting on Wednesday, October 12. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Health and Public Services partnered with local healthcare agencies and emergency services for Healthcare Simulation Week, which recognizes professionals who use simulation to improve safety, effectiveness and efficiency in healthcare. MCC partnered with Kingman Regional Medical Center, Kingman Fire Department, Northern Arizona Fire and Hualapai Mountain Fire to train first responders and nurses to effectively respond to critical situations such as emergency labor deliveries. “Healthcare Simulation allows healthcare providers to learn to provide safe, effective and ethical care using realistic scenarios.
