MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Community and Corporate Education is now offering welding, automotive, culinary and carpentry classes. Community Education provides engaging hands-on learning opportunities, services to enrich our students by exploring a new activity, upgrading an existing skill, or by meeting new people. It’s all fun non-credit classes with no grades or exams.  Classes will be offered throughout the southern MCC campuses at various times and days, including Saturdays. Parkway crash was fatal

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred at N. Oatman Road and the Bullhead Parkway on Friday, Sept. 1.   According to a BHCPD spokesperson, at about 10:10 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision. Both occupants in a blue Dodge Dart were transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center by Bullhead City Fire paramedics. The 88-year-old female passenger was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Kingman Area Literacy Program celebrates 10 years

KINGMAN – This September, the Kingman Area Literacy Program (KALP) is celebrating 10 years of providing 100% free tutoring services to adults and children in reading, English language learning, and GED test preparation. Over the past decade, KALP volunteers have donated thousands of hours to people from all walks of life with the goal of improving their lives through literacy. Boil Water Advisory Lifted For I-40 Water System Customers

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Public Works Director Steve Latoski announced this afternoon “After rigorous flushing and disinfecting through the past week, our latest samples came back negative/clear to which we are lifting the boil water advisory for the I-40 Water System customers this afternoon.” He also mentioned that “our disinfection and system flushing exercises continued through the week without any negative developments.” There had been an extended advisory period due to certain meticulous coordination with the Prison that involved work to isolate the Prison’s stored water while staff flushed the system through pressure from adjacent Well #7.  Latoski said…
