BOULDER CITY, Nev.–The National Park Service issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Sustainable Low Water Access Plan after completing an Environmental Assessment. Some public lands closed Dec. 9, 10 near Laughlin

LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Field Office announces the temporary closure of certain public lands under its administration Dec. 9-10, 2023. The closure will minimize the risk of potential collisions between racers and spectators during the 2023 SNORE Laughlin Rage at the River OHV Race. The temporary closure area includes State Route 163 to the north and T.32S. R.66E sections 8 and 17 to the west. Catholic Charities feeding those in need

BULLHEAD CITY – Catholic Charities Community Services, BHHS Legacy Foundation, and Food for Families recently partnered to distribute 600 Thanksgiving meal baskets for families in need in Bullhead City. The baskets provided families with a complete Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, gravy, canned corn, green beans, cranberries, potatoes, stuffing, rolls and pie.  On Monday, November 13 from 9 a.m. to noon, staff and volunteers assembled the baskets, with families receiving the baskets on Nov. 16.   For those facing food insecurity, a Thanksgiving Day meal was also served at the BHHS Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope, operated by…
