Aquarius, Edgewater continue Thanksgiving tradition for homeless students

LAUGHLIN / BULLHEAD CITY – Dozens of students and their families in the Bullhead City and Colorado River Union High School Districts will again have traditional Thanksgiving meals, following donations by the Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts in Laughlin, Hope United Methodist Church in Bullhead City, the Bullhead City Lions Club and an anonymous benefactor. Eighty four turkey meals with trimmings from side dishes to dessert were provided by Golden Entertainment’s Aquarius/Edgewater “Feed A Family” program.  BCSD received 40 “Feed A Family” meals, plus ten from Hope UMC, six from the Lions Club and another ten from an anonymous donor. …

GOLDEN VALLEY – The 11th Annual Meriwether Golden Valley Christmas Display is slated to begin each night starting December 1. The display on three acres with about 114 blowups and 100,000 lights will be up each night through January 1.
