Liberty Quartet to perform Jan. 26

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Everyone’s spirits will be uplifted at the Liberty Quartet’s concert this week. Formed in 1995, Liberty Quartet was founded by a local church in Boise, Idaho.

It started out with choir director Royce Mitchell and three other choir members. By 1997, the quartet had a full time traveling tour.

Today, the band continues to spread their faith and worship to audiences through music.  Each year, the band’s touring performances take place at prisons, churches, and nursing homes.

Eventually, Liberty Quartet broadened their concerts to Gospel Music Fan Festival in Canada, the Southwest Music Festival, and the Great Western Fan Festival. Lake Havasu will have a chance to listen to their invigorating melodies at their next upcoming concert.

The band will be performing on Friday, January 26 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Lake Havasu Church of Nazarene. This concert will be free to the public. Through their many travels, members of the group thrive at the chance to meet new people and bring individuals together from all generations.
