Chabad brings light over darkness in Chanukah celebration

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Chabad of Lake Havasu is welcoming the community to celebrate Hanukkah.  Founded in 2022 by Rabbi Mendel and Itta Super, their goal is to give a traditional Jewish history and customs to the Jewish people of Lake Havasu as well as the visitors that come to the town throughout the year.  They aim to serve those without access to the Jewish community. MOHAVE COUNTY –The NBC KPNX-12 and its sub-channels has been moved to another transmitter.   If customers do not or no longer receive CBS KPHO-5 and/or NBC KPNX-12, then, all TV customers in the Bullhead River areas using UHF type of antennas receiving from the Oatman Mountain site will need to re-scan their digital TV channels to re-acquire both CBS and NBC.  NOTE: This does not apply to those TV customers who utilize the “VHF” Katherine Landing TV transmitter site near the Davis Dam.   Once the scanning is completed most newer models of television will receive the normal virtual channels number.  However, some older…

Three perish in house fire

MOHAVE VALLEY –  Three adults were killed in a raging residential structure fire in Mohave Valley. Crews responding to the 2100 block of Lone Star Drive at 2:00 a.m. Sunday encountered a home fully engulfed by fire.  Mohave Valley Fire Department Fire Marshal Don Gibson said a male in his 20’s who was badly burned was outside the home when firefighters arrived on scene. Kingman teen killed in traffic accident

KINGMAN – A deadly two-vehicle collision is under investigation by the Kingman Police Department. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said Lacey Lynn Gale, 19, Kingman, was fatally injured in the Wednesday incident in the area of Kino Ave. and Stockton Hill Rd.
