Another fire fatality in Golden Valley

GOLDEN VALLEY – Another fire fatality is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said foul play is not suspected in the death of Dana Lee Pollan, 67.

Mortensen said deputies responded at about 11:22 pm on Sunday, Feb. 4 to the incident in the 4500 block of Smoketree Road in Golden Valley. They were greeted by firefighters who reportedly indicated that the fire had been contained to a bedroom within the residence.

Mortensen said Pollan’s body was recovered from that bedroom.
