LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Disc Golf Open Tournament was a hit this past weekend. Many spectators headed over to Sara Park to witness several divisions compete in the ever-growing sport.   The Lake Havasu City Open was a two-day event that began on Saturday, February 3 ending on Sunday, February 4 at the permanent disc golf course located just past Sara Park’s dog park. The University of Alabama All-Girl and Coed cheerleading teams each placed second at the UCA National Competition held at Walt Disney World in Orlando January 14. The Dance Team earned a spot in the D1 Jazz finals that same weekend in Orlando and placed eighth and ninth in the Gameday Dance semifinals. Irelyn Brady of Lake Havasu City is a member of the All-Girl team. The three-day competition took place at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports with teams from across the country at all levels participating in the event. LAKE HAVASU CITY – If you’re someone who is all geared up for some early Spring cleaning, you’re in luck. The Lake Havasu High School Band Boosters Annual Rummage Sale is still accepting donations, and it’s for a good cause!   Fundraising for the band happens throughout the year, and this would be the start of it.  The high school’s band rummage sale is now accepting gently used items that are functioning such as electronics, furniture, clothes, and much more. Donated items can be brought to the high school’s band room where they will be kept in the band’s trailer located outdoors.   Pickups are allowed…
