Eastern Street Realignment Project Re-Routing Beginning Next Week

KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman would like to notify the community that there will be a road closure for the Eastern Realignment to Airway Avenue project beginning on Monday, May 6, 2024. This will include a road closure at Eastern Street (North of Calumet Avenue) and Kenwood Avenue (West of Lomalai Street) from Monday, May 6, 2024 thru Wednesday, July 3, 2024. This closure will allow construction crews to relocate utilities as needed, install new curbs, gutters, sidewalks and asphalt on the newly aligned Eastern Street to Airway Avenue. All traffic will be re-routed utilizing Calumet Avenue.

The City of Kingman urges anyone traveling through work zones to use caution and provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.

For information about the project, questions or concerns please contact the 24-hour hotline number at (928) 233-8790.
