Supervisors receive anti-semitic mail

MOHAVE COUNTY – At least three of the five Mohave County supervisors received an anti-semitic postcard at their home addresses Tuesday. County to end state contract on immunizations

MOHAVE COUNTY – At their board meeting on Tuesday, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors in a 3-2 decision, voted to not extend the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) contract that is linked to the CDC’s Bridge Access Program.  According to Supervisor Buster Johnson, who voted in favor of extending the contract, the motion to deny the extension will mean an end to all immunizations once undertaken by the County’s health department.  “I understand the majority of the Board voted this down due to the extension giving us additional funding to administer the COVID-19 vaccines to underinsured individuals; however,…

Mullen-Lamb receives 40-year pin KINGMAN – On Wednesday January 17, the local Fraternal Order of Police (FOP)  Mohave Lodge #16 held an installation and awards dinner at the Hualapai Mountain Resort. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County will crown its 2024 spelling bee champion Friday night, Jan. 26. Some 27 fourth through eighth graders have qualified for the competition by winning their elementary school spelling bees to advance to the county finals. 2023 champion Ethan Knudson from Colorado City, now an eighth grader, is back to defend his title representing the Masada Charter School. KSS Taco Bell wins first tourney of the season

KSS Taco Bell, a Kingman-based traveling senior softball team, won its first tournament of the year at Rotary Park in Bullhead City over the weekend. The Kingman Senior Softball (KSS) squad won all five games to claim the 60 AAA division at the annual Top Gun Winter Classic. KSS opened with an 18-16 defeat of the Jokers from California, followed by a 14-13 win over the Boys of Summerlin from Nevada on Friday.
