LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department warns the community about a fraudulent telephone scam seen recently in Lake Havasu City. Officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department recently investigated a fraudulent telephone call where an unknown caller identified themselves as a member of the Lake Havasu City Police Department to the victim. VERMILION CLIFFS – This year has proven exciting for California Condors in Arizona and Utah with the milestone hatching of the 1,000th condor at Zion National Park, but the excitement is far from over as the 23rd annual public condor release is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28. BLM to host public meeting for proposed Moss Mine expansion project

KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Kingman Field Office invites the public to provide input on a proposed mining plan of operation for the Moss Mine, managed by the Golden Vertex Corporation (GVC). This plan proposes to expand the existing Moss Mine operation onto federal land, and provide for mineral exploration in the area surrounding the existing mine.
