Former NACFD chief Eder’s charges set aside

KINGMAN – The former chief of a north Kingman-based fire district has essentially erased his trial conviction involving a misdemeanor conflict of interest charge. Wayne Ludwig Eder, 56, was placed on unsupervised probation during a May 10 sentencing hearing before Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert.

Eder’s probation ended about 15 minutes later when he paid a $150 fine.

Judge Lambert in early August set aside, or dismissed, the conviction and allegations involved. Further, Judge Lambert fully restored Eder’s constitutional rights, including his rights to vote, hold office and possess firearms.
