The City of Bullhead City has various Commission and Board seats available for citizens to serve as of July 1, 2019. The City Clerk’s Office is currently accepting applications from citizens interested in volunteering for the following positions. The Board of Adjustment will have three seats available with two-year terms expiring on June 30, 2021. Mohave County Treasurer Cindy Cox has announced the dates, addresses, and office hours for the Bullhead and Lake Havasu City’s temporary satellite offices. The temporary satellite offices will be open from Thursday, April 25, through Wednesday, May 1 at Mohave Electric Cooperative, 928 Hancock Road, Bullhead City and Mohave County Complex, 2001 College Dr., Lake Havasu City. The offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Offices closed each day from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for treasury employee lunch.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department is accepting applications for police officer trainee through May 2, 2019. Interested candidates can visit the Police Department website at www.lhcpd.com and click on the “Join Our Team” link for more information. Lateral police officer applications are accepted on a continuous basis. Based upon a successful pilot program with the fire administration and engineering department to expand hours of service, the Kingman Police Department, beginning Monday, April 22, will begin a Monday through Thursday work week, closed on Fridays.  The lobby will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  It is hoped that this will provide the public more convenient access before and after regular work hours.   Police and emergency services will not be affected by the change in hours of operation.  As always, an after-hours phone is available in the lobby of the police department that provides instant access to…
