Public invited to Airport Master Plan Informational Workshop

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The public is invited and encouraged to attend the upcoming informational workshop for the ongoing Airport Master Plan for the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport this Thursday, August 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the Main Airport Terminal of the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport, located at 5600 N. Hwy 95 #1.

The goal of the Airport Master Plan is to provide the framework needed to guide future Airport development that will cost-effectively satisfy aviation demand, while considering potential environmental and socioeconomic issues.  The FAA recommends that public use airports like Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport prepare a new Airport Master Plan every 7-10 years or as local aviation conditions change.  The previous Master Plan was completed in 2009.

For more information, please contact Lake Havasu City Project Manager, Jeff Herb, at 928-680-5474.
