MOHAVE COUNTY – Ginny Anderson is stepping down as Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for Mohave County. She explained her exit in her Feb. 12 resignation letter. “I have accepted a position which will allow me to be closer to family,” Anderson said in her communication to the five board members and copied to County Manager Sam Elters. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman has been working with Catholic Charities of Arizona on their $4.5 million renovation of the Route 66 Motel located at 2939 E. Andy Devine Avenue as part of their Housing for Hope program. The Department of Housing awarded those grant funds to Catholic Charities, with the intent of renovating it into a 20-unit transitional housing facility.
