Alignable meetings may help small business owners

LAKE HAVASU CITY – If you’re an owner of a small business, it’s never too late to give your relationship networking methods a boost. Alignable is around to help, as they are an online networking organization designed to empower business owners to form deeper relationships.

Alignable’s consultant Sue Brooke paid a visit to Havasu on Feb. 15 at the Alignable Alliance of Lake Havasu launch meeting, held at Perfection 2 Detail.

The invite for the consultant Alignable role was an unexpected one for Brooke. The former small business owner formerly ran learning centers for students ranging from kindergarten to college. Brooke’s company was in business for 22 years but in 2015, she sold her company feeling compelled to pass along her networking expertise with other small business owners. Already an Alignable member, Brooke was always forming groups within Alignable’s database and providing assistance to proprietors.

It was in 2019, that Alignable took notice of her and extended a job offer to Brooke. It was a kismet opportunity that Brooke happily accepted. Today, the consultant is living her dream by traveling all over the U.S. to launch more Alignable meetings in different states. At the Havasu meeting, Brooke partnered up with local business owner Patty MacMonagle of Perfection 2 Detail and shared information with small business owners about the great impact of creating deeper connections with their clients and other like-minded businesses.

Some of the highlights of the discussion centered around questions business owners should be asking themselves. Do they know who their ideal customers are? Do they have a strong online presence? What can they do to help others and increase their networking?

Other key elements Brooke shared to improve relationship networking was how to support others with no expectations, being genuinely interested in other people’s goals, group participation, sending referrals, and other strategies that lead to small business success. With MacMonagle being Alignable’s first ambassador for Lake Havasu, there will now be meetings held each month to assist business owners with their networking skills.
