LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Fire Department is pleased to announce the selection of Garrett Roberts as the new Deputy Fire Chief of Administration. This appointment resulted from a nationwide search process involving highly qualified candidates inside and outside the fire department. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has awarded Lake Havasu City the Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP) Bronze Level at their Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program (VESP) recognizes and awards incentives to Arizona businesses and other organizations that have a good history of environmental compliance and strive to go beyond what is legally required to protect public health and the environment. Participants in the program can access tools and strategies that support their existing environmental programs and find opportunities to further reduce costs and spur innovation.
