Tribal gaming contributions increase 10.1 percent

The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has announced $18.4 million in tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the State’s third quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2020. This amount represents a 10.1 percent increase when compared to the same quarter of FY2019. “An increase of every new gaming dollar is more money to bolster Arizona’s health care system and trauma centers, schools, and other key institutions. Grand Canyon National Park transitions to limited services

GRAND CANYON – Grand Canyon National Park is announcing modifications to operations to implement the latest guidance from the White House,  Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities. As of 12 p.m. on March 20, 2020, all Xanterra operated services within Grand Canyon National Park including lodges, restaurants and tours will suspend until May 21, 2020. As of March 22, 2020, the Yavapai Lodge, operated by Delaware North, will close until May 1, 2020. Kingman city offices to close for two weeks

Staffing levels maintained to handle customer service by telephone, email  KINGMAN – Beginning Monday, March 23, all city buildings (except the Municipal Courthouse) will be closed to all public access until at least April 6. Based on guidelines issued by the President of the United States, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Arizona State Department of Health Services, the continued spread of COVID-19 is posing an increased public health risk, by not following those guidelines.
