KINGMAN –The Kingman Healthcare Inc. (KHI) Board of Directors has announced that C. William (Will) McConnell has been named as the next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC), the largest employer in Mohave County. McConnell will succeed Brian Turney who retires June 1. McConnell joins KRMC following ten years at Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado, three of those as CEO. COUNTY – The pandemic has not yet caused any significant local economic development casualties, according to professionals in Kingman. MOHAVE COUNTY – Two people have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus in Mohave County and county officials and their municipal counterparts are urging citizens and businesses to comply with restrictions detailed under Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s executive orders. The county announced Tuesday night, March 24, that the first infected resident is recovering at home in the Lake Havasu City area. PHOENIX – Arizona Governor Ducey issued an executive order on Tuesday, March 24, delaying the enforcement of eviction action orders for renters impacted by COVID-19. The order applies to renters who are quarantining due to COVID-19 or are facing economic hardship as a result of the outbreak.
