Kingman Council, fairgrounds denied use of meeting room due to COVID-19

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Board of Supervisors voted Thursday to reject outside use of its meeting auditorium in Kingman in a manner that Mohave County has been avoiding during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A 4-0 vote denied requests for use of the expansive auditorium for upcoming meetings of the Kingman City Council and Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District Governing Board. Kingman has been limiting audience size while encouraging spatial separation at its council meetings to prevent spread of the coronavirus. KRMC eases some visitor restrictions for hospitalized patients

KINGMAN – As Wednesday, June 10, Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) will allow limited visitation for some hospitalized patients. The hospital has been closed to all visitors since March 14 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Patients who are not under isolation precautions (those who test negative for COVID-19 or other infectious disease) can now receive visitors within the following constraints: Visitation is permitted twice daily, from 8am -10am and again from 5pm -7pm. Non-isolation patients are allowed one visitor per day during visiting hours.  Visitors must wear a mask to gain entrance to the hospital.
