KINGMAN – Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin is reporting progress with respect to the proposed Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Interchange and Parkway project. Foggin expressed excitement in his Thursday afternoon memo to the Mayor and Council members. Foggin said Kingman has received an executed copy of the development agreement along with a check for $54,000 that was due to the city when the agreement was signed. KINGMAN – The Arizona Department of Transportation indicates that the Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project “is on hold.” The project that includes development of a multi-million-dollar interchange with arterials leading north to the Kingman Airport and South to Hualapai Mountain Road had been scheduled to be put out for construction bids on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Cox intended to retire at the end of her term but has informed the Board of Supervisors and County Management team that serious health issues prompt her resignation effective Dec. 31, 2021. “It has been an honor and pleasure to represent the citizens of Mohave County for the last 9 years,” Cox said in her resignation notice.
