Former Mohave County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) executive director Don Van Brunt died early Saturday. Details were unavailable and there’s no word of services for Van Brunt, 94. Van Brunt made newspaper headlines for years as either he and/or MCEDA were embroiled in various political, business and legal controversies. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Overflow parking was a hot topic at the Nov. 14 Lake Havasu City Council meeting. Havasu Riviera Marina are working together with Lake Havasu for a temporary overflow along with special event parking at the BLM property east of the marina. The agreement will be in effect until December 2029.  The 2024 Water Main Replacement with Kimley-Horn and Associates phase two was addressed. This project is intended for the continuation of replacing water mains with anticipated completion by April 2024. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to invite anyone who is interested in learning more about the Short-Term Rental and Vacation Rental permit process to attend an educational workshop.
