Ambulance swiped from KRMC

KINGMAN – An ambulance was swiped just outside the Emergency Room in the parking lot of Kingman Regional Medical Center. AZGFD biologists document first bald eagle nest in saguaro cactus

It has long been speculated that bald eagles could utilize saguaro cacti as nesting sites. Now the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) has documented proof. During recent eagle survey flights conducted by the department, officials were delighted to discover a pair of bald eagles with eaglets nesting in the arms of a large saguaro near a central Arizona reservoir. According to  Kenneth “Tuk” Jacobson, AZGFD’s raptor management coordinator, biologists searched historical records in the 1970s for bald eagle nesting sites in Arizona. MOHAVE COUNTY – The assistant to the city manager is leaving Bullhead City for the same position in Lake Havasu City. Manager Jess Knudson is happy to welcome Anthony Kozlowski to Lake Havasu.    “I am thrilled to have Mr.  Kozlowski join the Lake Havasu City team,” Knudson said. “He has the expertise and knowledge that allows him to hit the ground running and help the City achieve its immediate and long-term goals.”    Kozlowki’s duties include special projects, research and reports, legislative affairs and general administrative support for city operations. LITTLEFIELD – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Anthony Charles Pope, 36 of Cedar City, UT, for two counts of felony Aggravated Assault per Domestic Violence and misdemeanor Failure to Comply with a Court Order. KINGMAN – The Kino Avenue Waterline Project updated closure is currently at the Morrow Avenue and North Glen Road intersection, and also Plaza Drive from Morrow Ave. to Khan Dr. will be closed until April 24, barring any weather delays. The contractor, Freiday Construction, is working with residents in the area regarding notification, but no water service delays or disruptions are scheduled to take place.
