COVID-19 cases rise to 48 for Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 14, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of three COVID-19 new positive cases out of the Kingman service area. The contact investigations have been initiated with all three cases and all of them have been determined to be epidemiologically-linked to another case. Case 1 is in the 20-44 year age range; case 2 is in the 55-64 age range; and case 3 is between 20-44.  All three are currently in isolation and recovering at home. Havasu teen killed in motorcycle crash

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A teenager was killed early Tuesday in Lake Havasu City when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a trailer. Lake Havasu City police said the incident was reported at 12:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of San Juan Drive. “A 2004 red and white Honda 150F dirt bike was traveling eastbound on San Juan Drive when the single rider failed to maneuver the motorcycle and collided with a properly parked toy hauler trailer,” Detective Chris Angus said in a news release.
