MOHAVE COUNTY – Already a longtime fixture at Bullhead City council meetings, the irascible and entertaining Scottie McClure has become a regular attendee of Mohave County Board of Supervisors meetings in Kingman in recent months. MOHAVE COUNTY – Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley spoke of rising coronavirus numbers Monday, the same day that Mohave County reported more than 900 new cases were documented in a three-day period tracing back to Friday afternoon. “Cases are up by 15% over last week from the previous week,” Burley told county supervisors during the Board meeting in Kingman. She said four area hospitals continue dealing with the COVID-19 crunch. “Last week Mohave County Emergency Departments averaged together over 100-plus COVID visits per day.
