Dear Editor, In regards to Mohave County Supervisors delay ‘Constitutional Sanctuary’ decision until Jan. 4; The “1776 resolution” seems to be inspired by Alex Jone’s rhetoric and theatrics who has the date “1776” placed on many of InfoWar’s products, such as shirts, mugs, bumper stickers, etc. He also uses the “Molon Labe” phrase as a money making gimmick, too. Murray charged with torching unoccupied commercial building

KINGMAN – Local authorities report a Kingman man admitted setting fire to a vacant commercial building on Northern Avenue. Joshua Murray, 30, was arrested after Monday’s 11:00 a.m. fire in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue. Mohave County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Murray had previously been trespassed from the same property. He was booked into jail on an arson charge. Chief Jake Rhoades said Kingman and Northern Arizona Consolidated fire district personnel put out the fire, with operational support from the Pinion Pine and Golden Valley Fire Districts. Walmart reopens after deep cleaning

KINGMAN – The sun came up and Walmart reopened its Kingman supercenter this morning. Walmart shut down the store for what it called a “deep cleaning” from 2:00 p.m. Monday until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday. The company provided a statement to the city of Kingman prior to closure indicating the store cleansing is part of the corporation commitment to public safety as it monitors COVID-19 infections in the communities it serves. There’s community speculation about possible coronavirus infection among the Walmart workforce. There was no mention of that in the corporate communication to the city. Dave Hawkins
