If this happens, they will apply a severe interpretation of Islam and the Qur’an. With the Taliban, Islam’s Sharia Law will be strictly followed in a most conservative, militant view. Sharia Law regulates public behavior, private behavior, and even private beliefs. Sharia Law also favors corporal punishment and capital punishment over incarceration.
