Bullhead murder suspect sought

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – The Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) said a reward of up to $1,500 is offered for information that helps authorities locate a homicide suspect identified as Christopher Pratt. The 32-year-old Bullhead City man is wanted for the shooting that produced injuries that led to the death of a 43-year-old Mohave Valley resident.

BHCPD public information officer Emily Fromelt said investigation determined that Pratt was driving on July 18 before the single gunshot he fired wounded the passenger and victim in both legs in the 800 block of Sea Spray Drive before dropped the man off in the 1800 block of Coronado Drive.

The victim, whose name is withheld, died of his injuries at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas on July 22.

Fromelt said detectives learned that Pratt had prior altercations with the victim. She said Pratt is charged with murder in an arrest warrant and that he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

“Anyone who sees Pratt should not approach him and should call 9-1-1 immediately,” Fromelt said.

Anyone with information regarding Pratt’s whereabouts is urged to call the BHCPD (928-763-1999). Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the Mohave Silent Witness Outline (928-753-1234).
