K-9 teams sniff out meth, heroin, cocaine, more

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Program continues to have a direct impact on the “war” on illegal drugs since September 2017 when the program was reinstituted by Sheriff Doug Schuster. “Once a deputy and his canine partner finish their training, they join our K-9 team,” said Sheriff Doug Schuster. “This is a great asset to our citizens and deputies as we will continue to aggressively attack illegal drug trafficking and work diligently to rid our streets of this illegal poison.” MCSO currently has five deputy/K-9 teams that patrol the county. Passports available through Clerk’s office

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Clerk of Superior Court would like to remind residents of the ability to use passport books or passport cards for travel. Residents can come into the Clerk’s Office to apply for their passport Monday through Friday. Adult passports are good for ten years. A passport card is a convenient wallet-sized document that can be used for all air travel within the U.S. and to re-enter the U.S. from Mexico or Canada. Hundreds turn out for K-9 car show

FORT MOHAVE – More than 102 classic and custom vehicles, and hundreds of spectators from around the tri-state converged on the 2019 Mohave County Sheriff’s K-9 Foundation Car Show.
