No injuries in LHC house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, multiple neighbors in the area of Gold Dust Drive and Gold Dust Circle reported a fire after the occupant discovered smoke and fire near their fireplace, and evacuated the residence. The first arriving fire company reported heavy fire through the roof and defensive fire conditions. Five engine companies, one truck company, two battalion chiefs, and a division chief responded to and gained control of the fire within one hour, with no reported injuries. Don and Annie Fuller of Annie’s Art Attic were featured speakers at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s October 25 meeting (shown with club president Karen Brown). Annie’s Art Attic, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, raises money through sales of donated clothing, jewelry, household items, furniture, collectibles and antiques at  2575 Northern Ave., and a second annex location at 4535 Roosevelt, where art and craft classes are held.
