KINGMAN –  On Jan 11, the Friends of Mohve County Animal Shelter hosted its semi-regular Kingman Petsmart Dog Adoptions, at the Petsmart on Stockton Hill Rd. The event was hosted inside the Petsmart building, where customers were allowed to view a sample of dogs for potential adoption. The animal adoptions are an ongoing event according to shelter manager/supervisor Nicole Manigiameli, with the shelter hoping to be at Petsmart every weekend if they can. (JAVC) will be hosting a Veterans Resource Fair on Friday January 17 at Elks Lodge #468, 900 Gates Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All veterans are invited to attend at no cost. Resources will be available to those seeking information on medical issues, housing, employment (many jobs are available), benefits, government programs, education, Veterans Administration programs, and VA loans.
