JAVC hosts free veterans fair

KINGMAN – The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County, Inc. (JAVC) will be hosting a Veterans Resource Fair on Friday January 17 at Elks Lodge #468, 900 Gates Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All veterans are invited to attend at no cost.

Resources will be available to those seeking information on medical issues, housing, employment (many jobs are available), benefits, government programs, education, Veterans Administration programs, and VA loans.

Transportation is available from the Golden Valley American Legion, St. Vincent’s and the Cornerstone Mission. Call 928-716-3001 for scheduled pick up times.

The JAVC works with veterans seeking assistance, Veterans Treatment Courts, and we are currently renovating Arnold Plaza to support those homeless seeking a hand up in a return to society.
