KINGMAN – A Gigantic Book Sale by Friends of the Kingman Library will be held indoors at the Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Ave. Parking will be at no cost. The sale will be open Friday, March 27, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 28, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Credit cards will be accepted. KINGMAN – Kingman’s own, Erika Kemp, is this year’s 2020 recipient of the Lily Mae Hester Scholarship through the United States Bowling Congress. Kemp, senior at Lee Williams High School, has been bowling since the age of seven, and is a member of the Youth Bowling League. She is a member of the National Honors Society, Senior Class President, Student Council, American Sign Language and FBLA, just to name a few. Her future plans are to attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, where she will study Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and hopes to use the scholarship toward room and board…

Morgana Campbell of Blessed Unions Wedding Ministry was named Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s February Citizen of the Month (shown with Rotarian Mary K Clark and club president Karen Brown). Campbell has volunteered for Ameri-Corps, the Second Chance Center for Animals, is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and has assisted with many Rotary fundraising events.
