Mohave County Public Health Director meets with mayors, city managers

MOHAVE COUNTY – The three mayors and three city managers from Bullhead City, Kingman and Lake Havasu City met Tuesday, March 10 with Mohave County Public Health Director Denise Burley and Mohave County Epidemiologist Anna Scherzer to discuss the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease). Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s March 6 speaker, Mayor Jen Miles (shown with club president Karen Brown), addressed the club on the state of the city. The Home Rule option has been approved every 4 years by voters since 1988. When it expires in 2023 staff recommends replacing it with a Permanent Base Adjustment. Westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman and Anvil Rock Road through mid-July

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman between mileposts 123 and 108 through mid-July. Drivers should plan for the following restrictions to be in place: One lane of traffic will be maintained on westbound I- 40 at all times. Law enforcement may be on site to assist with traffic control.  Eastbound I-40 will have intermittent left-lane closures along the project route for construction vehicle access.
