Ambulance swiped from KRMC

KINGMAN – An ambulance was swiped just outside the Emergency Room in the parking lot of Kingman Regional Medical Center. Kingman police responded at 4:00 a.m. Thursday to the hospital at 3269 Stockton Hill Rd.    Officers were advised that a male subject broke out a window of the ambulance before entering the vehicle and driving away. “Within minutes officers located the ambulance parked in the area of the 3600 block of Stockton Hill Rd., said deputy police chief Rusty Cooper.   Cooper said a man later identified as Lonnie Stephan Myricks, 40, Kingman, was spotted standing outside the driver’s side…

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Kevin Lee Dennis, 46 of Kingman, for Marijuana Possession, Dangerous Drug Possession, Dangerous Drug Possession for Sale, Narcotic Drug Possession, Narcotic Drug Possession for Sale, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, all felonies, and two active arrest warrants. On the evening of Friday, April 10, deputies responded to the 3100 block of Hearne Ave. to attempt to locate Dennis, who was staying in a motorhome on a property of a burnt-down, abandoned property. Asst city manager Kozlowski moving to Havasu

MOHAVE COUNTY – The assistant to the city manager is leaving Bullhead City for the same position in Lake Havasu City. Manager Jess Knudson is happy to welcome Anthony Kozlowski to Lake Havasu.    “I am thrilled to have Mr.  Kozlowski join the Lake Havasu City team,” Knudson said. “He has the expertise and knowledge that allows him to hit the ground running and help the City achieve its immediate and long-term goals.”    Kozlowki’s duties include special projects, research and reports, legislative affairs and general administrative support for city operations. Bullhead Elementary reminds students, parents that grading remains in place for spring semester

Bowen sentenced in hit-and-run that left a man crippled

KINGMAN – A 5.5-year prison term was ordered Monday for a Fort Mohave woman who crippled a man in a hit-and-run drunk driving accident. Genevieve Bowen, 56, was sentenced by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle. Bowen was convicted at trial of two aggravated assault counts, two driving under the influence of alcohol charges and for leaving the scene of an accident involving serious physical injury. Kino Avenue Waterline Project continues; lane closures extended

KINGMAN – The Kino Avenue Waterline Project updated closure is currently at the Morrow Avenue and North Glen Road intersection, and also Plaza Drive from Morrow Ave. to Khan Dr. will be closed until April 24, barring any weather delays.
