Needles man killed in crash

MOHAVE VALLEY – Authorities have released the name of the victim and provided additional details of a July 2 traffic fatality in Mohave Valley. Terry Wyatt Jr., 36, Needles, Calif., was dead at the scene of the Highway 95 crash reported at 8:35 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). Agency spokesman Bart Graves said Wyatt was northbound in a Dodge Grand Caravan when a southbound Dodge Ram truck traveling at a high rate of speed crossed the center line of the highway resulting in a head on collision. Ft. Mohave, Mohave Valley will be fogged for mosquitos tonight

FT MOHAVE – Mosquito surveillance conducted this week in Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley by the Mohave County Environmental Health Division (MCEHD) revealed the following locations that met the protocol to conduct fogging. The MCEHD uses the CDC’s recommended matrix as a guide of when to fog. FOGGING: Adult mosquito control application will begin on Monday evening July 6th around 8:00 pm, weather permitting. BHC schools resume free summer meals beginning today

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Elementary School District has received State approval to resume free summer meals Monday (July 6) for another month.  The two drive-through grab-and-go meal locations will be at Desert Valley School on Marina Blvd. and Fox Creek Junior High School on Desert Sky Blvd., just off the Bullhead Parkway and Adobe Road.
