Stupidity, hug? I wonder if the writer of the letter calling those of us who choose to wear masks and practice social distancing to protect ourselves and other from COVID-19 would, in his infinite wisdom, allow a surgeon to perform surgery on him without anyone in the O.R. wearing a mask? If has been well over a century ago the medical profession began postulating wearing gloves, masks, and using sterile equipment in a sterile environment, reduced nosocomial infections in post-op patients. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College will have one of its employees as a fellow at The Arizona Center for Civic Leadership during the Flinn-Brown Fellowship seminar series. Heather Patenaude, MCC Financial Aid Director, is one of 31 civic leaders that were chosen to fellow at the seminar. Dear Editor, In reference to any possible discussion and/or action regarding any government entity requiring the individuals or businesses to wear masks, I stand in full support that the decision to wear a mask or any other personal protective equipment is to be left at the sole discretion of the individual or business. Kudos to Mr. Hall at All American Pizza in Golden Valley. That outdoor benefit car show for the veterans was the best one I’ve seen, with 190 cars and trucks. The internal combustion engine will be here for generations to come. Classic cars and trucks will be here, too.
