City offices Presidents Day Closures

KINGMAN – City offices will be closed Monday, February 15, in honor of Presidents Day. There will be no residential or commercial trash service on Monday, February 15; Monday and Tuesday customers should put their cans out one day late. KART will also not operate on Monday, but will return to normal operating hours Tuesday, February 16. LAKE HAVASU CITY – City offices are closed on Monday, February 15, in observance of the Presidents Day Holiday. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices will resume normal schedules on Tuesday, February 16.

For The People Act, HR 1 which has been pending, is an important legislative initiative that further assures this right. Principally it protects and strengthens voting rights, addresses ethics reforms, ends partisan gerrymandering, and closes the revolving door to reduce corruption and/or conflict of interests in our government. Alleged fire bug arrested

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Police in Lake Havasu City report the arrest of a man believed to be responsible for torching vehicles, home construction sites and wood pallet piles early Monday. Jeremy Chelgren, 37, was taken into custody without incident late Monday afternoon, hours after police released his picture hoping that he could be located.
