LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to preserve our roadways, The Lake Havasu City Maintenance Services Division announces the nighttime closure of Lake Havasu Ave. from Mesquite Ave. to Swanson Ave. for routine maintenance. The roadway will be closed to through traffic on Lake Havasu Ave. from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sunday, May 9 to Tuesday, May 11 subject to weather and other conditions. KINGMAN – On May 6, 2021 at the Mohave Co Fair Association Board of Directors Meeting the board voted to terminate the fair manager’s employment agreement effective immediately. Tim Woods had been placed on paid administrative leave on Sunday May 2. A candidate search for the fair manager position is forthcoming. Karen Hughes, board member, is acting fair manager until the position is filled. All planned events will continue as scheduled.
