Dear Editor, As we approach Memorial Day, give thanks for our soldiers who gave and are giving sacrificially for our freedom. One of the freedoms we enjoy is the freedom to own a house. The greatest asset of most people is the roof over their heads. Your house may be worth more than all of your cash, savings accounts and in some cases retirement funds combined. KINGMAN –The Arizona Partnership for Immunization (TAPI) has honored KRMC’s Joshua Tree Pediatrics with two awards in recognition of the practice’s immunization success. On April 28, Joshua Tree Pediatrics was presented with a Daniel T. Cloud award for their toddler vaccination rate – 87% of toddler patients completed their vaccination series with the practice in the previous year. The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the grand opening of Valley View’s Wound Care Unit in Fort Mohave last week. Valley View Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center provides specialized treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds, which can lead to lower quality of life and sometimes amputation. Dear Editor, GOP politicians today are like fast talking used car salesmen, or crybabies who sensationalize stories and throw tantrums waving their hands around to get their audience pumped up. They believe that by parroting hackneyed talking points, this somehow makes them attractive to GOP voters.
