Public assistance requested in identifying a victim from 1971 homicide
MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit (SIU) is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a previously unidentified female victim from a 1971 Homicide case. On January 23, 1971, the victim was located in the desert area near a dirt road, 2.2 miles east of US Hwy 93 on Hackberry Road. The victim was located in a canvas sack that had been tied at the top with a white cotton rope. Dear Editor, The five Mohave County District Supervisors make new ordinances to get votes knowing all the departments will not be able to handle them because of resources, manpower, and money. Why? I don’t know. The Environmental Department does a great job knowing the ordinances and they aren’t afraid to tell violators who are breaking the ordinances the consequences if they are not followed.
