The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Sterilite Corporation to celebrate 25 years as a Chamber Member! Sterilite Corporation was founded in 1939 and is the largest housewares manufacturer in North America. There are 7 plants located around the US, the Lake Havasu City Plant has been in operation since 1989 and currently employees 410 people. LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to preserve our roadways, Lake Havasu City announces the asphalt pavement repair at 375 London Bridge Rd.  Work is scheduled to occur between 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Thursday June 10, 2021 subject to weather and other conditions. January 14, 1937 – May 29, 2021 George Thomas Swarts, Kingman, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 29, 2021 with family members at his side.  He was preceded in death by his parents Bern and Carmelita Swarts, his sister Rosalie Christensen, and his brother Jim Swarts.  He is survived by his ex-wife Maren Webb, his daughters Diane, Maria, and Rose (Dolly) Swarts, and grandchildren Jayde Swarts and RJ Herrera.
