Dear Editor, In response to Mr. Simpson’s letter in the 1st of Dec. edition of The Standard: you proved my point. Ask a conservative to explain their (what seem to me) illogical policies and you will not get an answer. My original questions asked why you thought “people like Bezos, Buffett, Musk, Trump, and Soros, etc. get by with paying little to no tax” (including giant corporations as well)? Paul Joseph Samoska, 84, passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2021 at his home in Kingman, AZ after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Sandee, his loving wife and soulmate of 61 years, and his dog, Bear, were at his side. Paul was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Samoska in Chicago, Ill. Dear Editor, We hear so much about COVID-19, but do we get the truth, especially from our government and the pharmaceutical industry? Of great importance to all of us is how effective and for how long the COVID antibodies last. Many tests done by other countries have shown it is more effective than the vaccine and lasts longer. Dear Editor, The Kingman Downtown Merchants Association would like to thank the community and all of the entries for this year’s Veterans Parade. As you know in 2020 it was cancelled due to the pandemic and we were determined to have a parade this year 2021 thinking that it would be small but the attention and efforts well deserved.
