Trouble over residential storage in Valle Vista

Dear Editor,

The Zoning Ordinance governs how much storage is allowed by the size of the lot.

For lots of one-half acre or less, the maximum allowable amount of residential outside storage is two hundred (200) square feet.

For lots over one-half acre to 2 acres, the maximum allowable amount of residential outside storage is 1000 square feet.

For lots over 3 acres to 5 acres, the maximum allowable amount of residential outside storage is 2000 square feet.

For lots over 5+ acres, the maximum allowable amount of residential outside storage is 5000 square feet r up to 2% of the lot size.

For lots of one-half acre or less with a primary residence, any residential outside storage must be view-obscured with a fence that is at least 6’ high.

Residential outside storage on lots greater than one-half acre, personal storage of 400 square feet or more must be view-obscured.

On a lot without a residence (there may be other structures), the residential outside storage must always be view-obscured.

Except cars, boats, or RVs that are used regularly, residential outside storage can never be place in the setback areas.

  1. Actually their is no problem, only someone who thinks they know better than everyone else,
and want to control/ be in charge of the area,
seems there is always one person who has to be the “thorn”
