Robinson jailed

UPDATED May 7, 2021 3:55 p.m KINGMAN – A man who has many times accused various public officials of wrongdoing now faces possible prosecution for alleged drunk driving. Steven Claude Robinson, 65, was booked into the Adult Detention Center late Thursday, April 6 on a charge of driving under the influence to the slightest degree. Robinson served as point person for the Donald Trump Presidential campaign in northwest Arizona last year and he has worked tirelessly for the Mohave County republican party over the years, including a stint as Dist. 1 Director. The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce helped commemorate the grand opening of Fina’s Glamour Boutique in Bullhead City this week. Owner Aide Saucedo has been in the area for many years working from home and has now been able to open a location of her own. Local newspaper moving to new digs

KINGMAN – The oldest newspaper in Mohave County is relocating to historic downtown Kingman from its current office in the center of the community. A “For Sale” sign is posted at Stockton Hill Road office building that the Daily Miner has occupied for years. The Miner informed its readers in its Friday publication that the paper will be moving into another office at 802 E. Beale St. starting Monday. Kingman Area Food Bank Receives New Equipment

KINGMAN –  The Kingman Area Food Bank has received an essential piece of equipment for their operations! St Mary’s Food Bank approved a grant request made several months ago to fund a new fork lift truck for the Food Bank. This new equipment has a value in excess of $20,000 and was provided at no cost to serve the hungry in Mohave County St Mary’s is affiliated via contract with the food bank in Kingman and provides a significant portion of the emergency food they provide to the public.
