BULLHEAD CITY — A plea agreement has been entered for the man who pointed a BB gun during a springtime confrontation in Bullhead City. Police said Antonio Avila Vasquez, 43, did not fire the BB gun but pointed it at four people in a passing vehicle in the 2300 block of Castlerock Circle on May 18th.
“I made a mistake,” Avila Vasquez told Judge Doug Camacho Tuesday. “I’m deeply sorry and it’ll never happen again.”
Four aggravated assault counts are dismissed in the plea agreement convicting Avila Vasquez of four counts of disorderly conduct involving a weapon. The defendant was directed to forfeit the BB gun.
Judge Camacho credited Avila Vasquez for 51 days spent in custody. He ordered no further jail time and placed him on probation for three years.
