MOHAVE COUNTY – Some 22 citizens have submitted nominating petitions seeking office in municipal races this election cycle in Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead City. All will make the July 30 primary election ballot absent any candidacy challenges.
Ken Watkins is uncontested in his bid for re-election in the City of Kingman.
Robert Cathey is a challenger for a four-year term as Kingman Council members Jamie Stehly, Cherish Sammeli and Keith Walker seek re-election. The two-year council term is pursued by Council appointee Cengiz Arik, along with Jim Dykens and Elliott Chalew.
Four council seats are up for grabs in Bullhead City. Re-election seeking Councilors Rodney Head and Juan Lizarraga are in the mix, as are challengers Karen Dallman, Eugene O’Neill, Jason Newlin, Linda Saldana and Annette Wegmann-Wood.
Incumbents Cameron Moses and Nancy Campbell seek new terms of office in Lake Havasu, while others pursuing three Council seats include Morgan Braden, David Diaz, Joan Dzuro, Teri Kay Parcells and Rick Riegler.
