When I see another “No Kings” rally pop up, it tells me one thing: President Trump must be doing something right. There is no king in America—only a President elected to serve the people, protect our security, and defend our way of life.
TOPOCK/GOLDEN SHORES – VFW Post 6306 will be hosting a parade to honor America’s freedoms and celebrate the 100th birthday of Route 66 on Saturday, April 11, beginning at 10 a.m. The event will feature a special program recognizing veterans and local youth participation in patriotic activities as well as special honors for three community veterans over 90 years old.
KINGMAN – On Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m., Beale Street Theater proudly shines the spotlight on the incredible women of our community with a dazzling evening of entertainment featuring The Kingman Divas.
The City of Kingman is notifying residents and motorists of temporary street closures in downtown Kingman for the first First Friday event of the season, taking place on Friday, April 3, 2026. Street closures will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will include Beale Street between 1st Street and 6th Street, extending north and south to the alleyway. 4th Street will also be closed from the alley north of Beale Street to Andy Devine Avenue.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the event.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Council has officially approved the Public Participation Plan (PPP) for the development of the City’s 2026 General Plan update.
Freddie James Johnson, of Kingman, died Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was 82. Mr. Johnson was born June 19, 1943 in Laredo, Tex. The family contact is his wife Karen Ann Johnson. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
