Kingman man charged with sexual exploitation

A Kingman man was arrested Monday for alleged sex offenses involving a 16-year-old girl in Arkansas. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said David Joseph Cruz, 40, had a long distance, year-long communication involvement with the girl he met through social media. “During their relationship, Cruz requested and received nude photos and videos of the victim,” said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “Cruz communicated with the victim through video chat, phone calls and text messages.” Cruz reportedly admitted his involvement when interviewed by detectives. County approves additional $100,000 to fund election costs

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Supervisors approved an allocation of $100,000 for staff to conduct today’s election. Recorder Kristi Blair said mailing more than 80,000 early ballots and high voter turnout during the pandemic has increased the expected cost. Dist. 5 Sup. Ron Gould, who prides himself on his disciplined fiscal conservatism, took pleasure in voting in support of the funding as Mohave County voters participate in the democratic process. “We should be overjoyed,” Gould said. Lavonne Annette Hill received her angel wings on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
