Safe evacuation in Lake Havasu City garage fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) personnel responded to a residential fire in the 3200 block of Rustler Drive. The occupants discovered smoke in the garage and safely evacuated the residence before firefighters arrived. LHCFD brought the fire under control within approximately 15 minutes.

All occupants exited the home safely, and no firefighter injuries were reported.

Fire crews remained on scene for an additional 1.5 hours, conducting overhaul and salvage operations. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
